David Wendt
David's entrance into the travel business occurred in 1983. Once receiving a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University, he took a position with a national tour company. His responsibilities varied from selling and promoting group programs to driving and escorting extended motor coach trips throughout the United States.
In June of 1984 he started a local tour company specializing in group travel for older adults. For the next 12 years he developed an attractive mix of escorted motor coach, rail and air programs throughout the USA, Canada and Europe. These packages were promoted and operated through senior citizen organizations, church groups and travel clubs throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Western New York.
In 1996, David decided to take a leave of absence from the travel industry and continue his education. David and his family moved to Steubenville, Ohio where he pursued graduate studies at Franciscan University of Steubenville. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Theology & Christian Ministry, he re-entered the travel business and began Wendt Touring.

Richard Urbas
Richard has enjoyed a successful career within the tour and travel industry for over thirty years and has experience in every aspect of the business He has enjoyed traveling just about "everywhere" within the United States and Canada. Richard has been happily associated with David Wendt for over 20 years and primarily works out of Wendt Touring, Cleveland.
Marnette Severance
Marnette joined the company in 2006 as tour coordinator but started traveling at age four when she went to church camp with her grandmother. She met her husband in Germany while studying abroad and lived in Berlin for three years. Chile, Russia, China, Italy, Austria, Scotland and Ireland are among her most memorable international destinations. She and her family crisscrossed the US for many summers in their motor home.

Griselda Taylor
Griselda is our newest travel coordinator at Wendt Touring. She comes to us with a background in travel. In the '90s she worked in reservations for TWA and booked cruises and resort vacations at a call center for Orbitz, Costco, Expeida, etc. Most recently she worked as a flight attendant for North American Airways, a contract airline, primarily flying our military ( and sometimes the military of other countries) from home bases to destinations in Europe, the Mid East, and Asia and back. She is happy to be on board at Wendt Touring and looks forward to serving you!
